|  | | Job Description | We are seeking a Non-Executive Director to help forge strategic partnerships between an innovative business and major companies in the building automation sector; the individual should have senior contacts in this industry as well as experience at Board level in the sector as CEO, in Finance or in Sales/Marketing/Business Development functions.
1. The Business Concept:
Our client drives rapid growth in small innovative firms by connecting them to major strategic partners. It has a stable of high growth, early stage firms.
The company is looking to recruit exceptional Non-Executive Directors to assist in the forging of strategic partnerships within different industry sectors.
Trade investment by the strategic partner in the small innovative firm is envisaged.
2. The Small Firm:
This client has developed eco-friendly building automation systems which give building owners integrated control of heating, lighting, ventilation, security and entertainment.
Negotiations are underway for its products to be marketed across Europe by a major building material distributor.
3. The Non-Executive Director Requirement:
In-depth experience of the building automation sector.
The Non-Executive Director and our Client together approach relevant major companies in the industry sector about the possibility of strategic partnership/trade investment with the small innovative firm.
The Non-Executive Director will also be involved in the face to face negotiations with strategic partners and trade investors.
The role is part time with the amount of time required varying as strategic partnership and trade investment deals progress.
This opportunity will appeal to high calibre individuals who are interested in potentially making a substantial capital gain (£200k to £500k per deal) from trade investment by the strategic partners as opposed to earning fee income.
There is also the opportunity for Non-Executive Director to invest in this rapid growth, innovative company on preferential terms ahead of trade investment.
