Vienna based, with International travel - attractive base, bonus, and benefits
ROLE - VP reports to Segment President in USA.
•Develop and implement business strategy for the market or region that ensures profitability through revenue growth, effective cost control, and operational excellence.
•Assess existing and potential markets, develop and maintain strategic alliances with key customers.
•Define business priorities through a broad and far vision of market and technology needs, including mergers and acquisitions to strengthen and expand capabilities and drive market penetration.
•Successfully negotiate difficult and/or critical business matters, deliver effective proposals, and consummate deals to capture profitable new business, with beneficial and compliant contractual terms and conditions.
•Have P&L responsibility for the division.
•Lead and manage a team of account and program managers, business development.
•Establish, communicate, and hold direct and matrix team accountable for contract terms, program budgets, schedules, operational objectives, and performance metrics that drive profitability and high levels of customer satisfaction.
PERSON SPEC
Must have extensive Contract Manufacturing experience of Industrial Products , with 10 years of progressive experience in operations leadership, account management, and general manager roles ideally currently at VP Level encompassing, Operations, Sales, Account Management & Program Management.
Currently responsible for P&L for a division/segment.
Considerable experience and knowledge of current industrial European CEM/OEM Markets, culture, contacts etc
Full CEM/EMS experience including contract manufacturing of industrial "low volume" mechanical, sheet metal and plastics products.
New product introduction success, where tight links to engineering fostered a team approach and resulted in improved DFM/DAFT, increased yields, lower cycle times, and reduction of manufacturing costs.
Proven track record of significantly improving operational metrics.
Dynamic builder of relationships with customers and operations, with entrepreneurial success identifying new areas of opportunity, negotiating complex business deals for mutual benefit.
Key Account Management (multiple) large accounts, program management , projects, customers, and sites, including transferring programs to low-cost regions and driving high levels of customer satisfaction.
Experienced implementer of corporate strategy including mergers and acquisitions
Ability to influence and lead in a fast-paced, matrix-reporting, multi-cultural environment.
BA in business management, engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline; MBA preferred.
50% international travel.
