Privacy, Data Protection and Your Security.We are committed to protecting your privacy and this policy outlines what information we collect from you and how we use it. Registering your CV and Jobs by Email:If you choose to register your CV you must be aware that the information you supply about yourself will be, due to the very nature of the site, viewed by third parties. We will take every effort to ensure that your information is viewed by bonafide recruitment organisations or employers who may be interested in your services (including recruiters, HR professionals, headhunters etc) but we are not responsible if someone posing as one of the aforementioned gains access to the database. You must be aware that recruiters who pay for our CV database product will have access to personal details that you supply. Your CV may also be viewed by other divisions of the group if it is thought their recruitment or career management services will be of benefit to you. You may remove your CV at any time, but recruiters who have paid to access this service may have downloaded a copy of your CV to their records and hold a copy in their files or databases. We are not responsible for the retention, use, or privacy in these cases. You are responsible for the content displayed on your CV. When you send us your CV for registration and any other information about you we will take this as confirmation from you that it is accurate and not misleading. This is important, as third parties will be relying on it. You can remove your CV from being viewed at anytime. If you do not wish us to use your personal information for direct marketing purposes please unsubscribe. Please note we do not presently use third parties to store or process information supplied by you to us. We will let you know if this changes and we will take guarantees from any such third parties as to the security of your personal information. Submitting your CV and other information to us for registration is agreement from you that we may transfer that information outside the EU and in particular to the USA (if we believe this is appropriate). You should be aware that such countries may not have data protection safeguards in place equivalent to those in the UK.
