Modern law firm hiring Legal Secretary with stand-out typing skills to work in its accredited family department.

The Firm
Long-established and well-regarded in the legal community, this firm is Lexcel-accredited and has members of Resolution, the specialist family law accreditation body, on its team of Solicitors. A multi-legal-discipline and modern firm with offices throughout the East Midlands, our client is now looking to expand its family department with the appointment of a Legal Secretary to work in its office located in Mansfield, a thriving market town on the River Maun in Nottinghamshire.

The Role
This firm is hiring a motivated Family Legal Secretary to work on a full time, permanent basis. The successful Family Legal Secretary will have strong ability in typing with the skill for working with accuracy and speed and will be adept at the use of Microsoft Word. The role will involve the following: copy and audio typing of both legal and financial documents; liaising with clients and fellow staff; post preparation and; diary management, utilising good IT facilities to support you in your work. It is therefore essential for the successful candidate to already possess experience working as a Legal Secretary as well as the aptitude to work both independently and as part of a team. The Candidate 
To be considered for this role:
You will have a minimum of 2 years` experience working in a legal or professional environment as a Legal Secretary.
You will be a highly accurate and efficient typist.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Word.
It will be advantageous if you are adept at working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
You will have good communication skills.
Your organisational skills will be excellent.
Both teamwork and working independently will be key strengths.
