Urgent requirement for a Child Care Lawyer to join a busy department in Truro, now available!

The Firm
The successful Solicitor will be part of the In-House legal department that advises across a very wide range of legal areas and supports numerous external public sector clients. This office is one of the largest in the country, overseeing a variety of high-level, high-cost projects across the county. They are now seeking an experienced Child Care Lawyer for an immediate start in Truro.

The Role
A new opportunity for a Child Care Lawyer has now arisen in our client`s busy department in Truro. This is suited to a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years PQE, handling a diverse caseload under minimum supervision and meeting key deadlines. Covering a wide area of Children matters, duties will include: child arrangement orders; jurisdictional matters; adopting; non-accidental injuries; child abduction; conducting advocacy; and emergency orders. The successful Lawyer may have Child Panel Membership/Accreditation, demonstrating excellent client skills. This is a full-time, 3-month Locum position with the possibility of developing into a permanent role for the right Solicitor.

The Candidate
A qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE;
Solid background in Child Care matters is essential;
Child Care Panel Membership is highly desirable;
Excellent client care is advantageous;
Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative;
Handle a varied caseload under minimum supervision;
Available to start immediately.
