SITE MANAGER - WINDERMERE - Fit out

We are currently recruiting for experienced site manager for projects based in Windermere, Lake District in the New Year.

Responsibilities:

Being in charge of the construction crew, motivating the work force, planning projects and insuring that they meet agreed specifications, budgets and time-scales, overseeing the building work, leasing with clients and reporting progress, supervising contracted staff, meeting subcontractors, making safety inspections and insuring construction and site safety, checking and preparing site reports, maintaining quality control procedures.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years site management experience

- Understanding of design and technical drawings

- First Aid certified

- Valid CSCS card holder

-Come from a carpentry background

- Ability to operate most of construction machinery and hand tools

- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive problem solver

- Ensuring highest quality standards

- Flexible approach to working time to meet deadlines/peak workloads

- Own transport and tools are an advantage (otherwise can be provided)
