Role and Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to ensure the effective running of the goods inwards department and stock management/rotation. Working closely with the wider purchasing, technical & management team this role is key to delivering stock and managing the transit of stock throughout the business.

Base working hours; Monday to Friday 07.00 -16.00 and Saturday 07.00 -12.00

The role will demand a flexible approach to deliver the needs of the business.

Responsibilities will include
• Stock rotation & stock management of all goods.
• Ensuring Intake traceability systems are managed & controlled.
• Timely receipt of all goods/deliveries & controlling the intake schedule.
• QA/QC of all deliveries ensuring the quality/weight is to agreed orders & specifications.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
FLT Licence/experience would be an advantage but not essential. Full hygiene training will be given.

• Ability to develop good working relationship with managers in other areas of the business, to deliver the common goals of the business in terms of profitability and provision of agreed service levels to customers.
• Willingness to embrace change, and develop people within your team
