This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to join a global travel business. As a Learning & Development Business Partner, you will be working closely with the Head of Learning & Development to sculpt and implement an outstanding L&D offering and will be central to the ongoing development of a world class travel team.

Primarily based in the Manchester Office, you will have involvement in a vast range of activities from supporting the on-boarding programme, the implementation and delivery of Apprenticeship schemes to the management of the learning management system. You’ll be working as part of a team to support the design and delivery of creative and innovative People Development Strategies by engaging with all departments across the business, building strong relationships and trust. You’ll positively contribute to the identification and management of a talent development pipeline in line with the organisational growth strategy, carrying out regular needs analysis and identifying development requirements.

Additionally, you’ll have responsibility for managing the Learning Management System, ensuring the most up to date knowledge resources are available at all times, keeping accurate learning records to demonstrate business wide engagement. You’ll design and deliver a blend of engaging classroom/self study/ e-learning activities to support the identified learning needs, whilst ensuring the desired outcomes and business benefits are clearly articulated.

To be considered for this exciting Learning & Development Business Partner role in Manchester, you’ll be a strong relationship builder, have the ability to work with competency frameworks and drive positive results through people. With your extensive prior experience of using e-learning design software (e.g. Captivate/Articulate), you’ll be capable and confident in coaching and mentoring, with the ability to deliver a wide variety of blended learning programmes. Experience with the new Apprenticeship standards framework in the Travel industry would be advantageous. This position would suit a confident, team player, with superb attention to detail and the ability to solve problems and engage people at all levels.
