Customer Services and Administration Assistant

Lancaster City Centre, LA1

£16-18K ( pro-rata if part time)

20-30 hours OR can be full time ( but part-time MUST be until 5pm each day )

 We are delighted to be recruiting for our unique business client in Lancaster who, due to business growth now require a new Customer Service and Admin Assistant. Working in a small, beautiful city centre office you will be happy to have a variety of tasks to do each day and be a willing, motivated person.

This new position will be to help in many areas of the business including speaking to customers over the phone, helping with marketing tasks and assisting with basic bookkeeping.

The role hours are flexible for each applicant but, can be anything from 20 hours up to 35 hours per week, however, if part-time the successful candidate MUST be able to work every afternoon until 5 pm. Full training will be given on all systems.

 Duties

   » Helping with basic book-keeping
   » Sending out invoices
   » Answering the phones to customers
   » Taking orders from customers
   » Liaising with the marketing team to assist them
   » Mailing out brochures and helping with exhibition preparation

What you must have

   » Experience in helping customers over the phone
   » Experience in accurate data entry
   » Excellent Customer service skills
   » Ability to juggle a variety of tasks
   » Excellent common sense
   » Excellent planning skills

Nice ‘extras’ but not essential

   » Any experience with Sage
   » Any book-keeping experience
