Exec2Exec Launches Charity Initiative

Executive job board, Exec2Exec.com have announced their new initiative to help raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. The charity is devoted to making the lives of those affected by cancer a little easier by providing practical, emotional, and financial support.

Spokesman for Exec2Exec, Paul Taylor, said ‘we chose Macmillan Cancer Support because of their positive affect on peoples lives and the wider community. We hope to increase our support over the next year and make a great contribution to a really worthwhile cause.’

Alongside the relaunch of the website, Exec2Exec have decided to donate £5 for each package sold in the first month of trading to the charity and are expecting to raise in excess of £2000 by Christmas. Other initiatives include ‘Fun Fiver Fridays’ in which each member of the head office team pays £5 a month to have dress a down day at the end of each week.

Looking forward into the New Year, Exec2Exec plan to get involved in Macmillan fundraising initiatives such as the Macmillan sponsored Jailbreak in which a blackout bus picks partakers up and takes them to an unknown location. The challenge is getting home with no money!

‘Supporting a charity is a great way to build relationships both within the company and the wider community,’ Paul continued. ‘We’re all really excited to get started on our fundraising and start making a real contribution.’

Look out for future Exec2Exec fundraising activities. The newly formed charity team are busy cooking up ideas to really help promote Macmillan Cancer Support and start raising money for such a beneficial and worthwhile cause.
